Comfort for All

Staying at home these days has its perks. I’m wearing comfortable clothes. We’re eating comfort food—see last week’s post. I’m relaxing more in a comfortable chair and reading a good book. Better habits, different hair colors, and fantastic recipes will evolve from this crisis. One of the most encouraging changes is a renewed spirit of giving and sharing. Please join me on this Good Friday in being thankful for the single most compassionate gift ever given. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
