Catnapping

Can you believe it’s already 2019? Good gracious, the last twelve months flew by like a rocket headed for outer space. So fast and hectic I can barely see Christmas 2018 in my rearview mirror. No wonder I took a short snooze today after lunch to recover. And look who joined me. Yes, that pile of fluff most definitely contains more than one feline. For some reason they prefer to “crowd” sleep, which means any time I doze on the couch I have company. In other words, a communal catnap.

But rest is good for you, and Psalm 62 explains why. “My soul finds rest in God alone . . . he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” So as we head into 2019, I hope you take time to find peace and rest during the year. This crazy, busy world will wear you down quickly without an occasional catnap. My resident furry experts recommend at least one a day.
