Rise and Shine

Crisp foggy mornings leave behind a reminder they’ve come and gone, maybe before some of us rise and shine. A thin layer of dew covers everything in sight and sparkles when the sun appears, providing much needed moisture for the earth and beauty for those of us up that early. We can do the same, and Philippians 2:14-15 explains how. “Do everything without complaining and arguing. Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this crooked and perverted society, among whom you shine like stars in the universe. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God.” May you shine on this Southern-Fried Friday and make somebody’s day sparkle.
