Water Therapy

Cool mountain air, water trickling over rocks, and a campfire describe my perfect Fall Southern-Fried Friday. Relaxing to mind, body, and soul. While big cities offer 24/7 activities, I prefer the peace and comfort of a campfire and nearby mountain stream. Call me crazy, but I call it contentment. If you add fire-roasted hot dogs and marshmallows to the evening, my husband calls it the perfect outdoor supper. In a letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul called it great gain. “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that (1 Timothy 6:6-8).” Wishing everyone a colorful and contented autumn.
