Place with a View

With spring in sight, a road trip might be in your plans. If you’re interested in the beach, history, and adventure all rolled into one place, consider the North Carolina Outer Banks. Within a hundred mile stretch of sand and water is a coastline of shipwrecks nicknamed the Graveyard of the Atlantic, the first permanent English colony in America (established 1587), the site of the Wright brothers’ first airplane flight, and four lighthouses you can climb. Enjoy a few days of fun and sightseeing with activities for everyone and right-off-the-boat scrumptious seafood. I highly recommend the area for a delightful southern trip.
